The aim of Calderwood Jewish Education is to make Calderwood Lodge School
and Nursery the natural choice for the education of all children between the
ages of three and eleven by offering a religious and Hebrew language
education of the highest quality,within a supportive Jewish ethos.

Glasgow Yeshiva provides Jewish education for boys and girls between the
ages of 5 and 18 years. Children currently benefit from its small classes
and highly qualified teachers.

Limmud Scotland was set up 5 years ago by a small groupof enthusiasts who
wanted to bring the Limmud concept to these shores. We aim to
provideinnovative leaming experiences for Jews of every hue and from all
over Scotland - and beyond. So far we have held 3 Day Limmuds and a variety
of other activities: a Mini-Limmud; 2 Oneg Shabbat (Friday evening
celebrations); 2 'Glasgow Jewish Joumey'coach tours and a reminiscence
project in conjunction with the Scottish Jewish Archives Centre. All of our
events aim to be interesting, informative, interactive and fun. In the run
up to our events regular team meetings are held in Glasgow and Edinburgh,
but we do a great deal of business by email- As a small team of volunteers
aiming to run events to a high professional standard,we invite your
involvement. Our latest project is to organise a series of 'Shiur' (study)sessions
run by and for our team. Limmud... taking you onestep further on your Jewish
Journey.

Lubavitch
is committed to reaching every Jew regardless of knowledge or religious
observance. They provide a wide range of activities for Jews of all ages,
both social and educational, and provide counselling against interdating,
intermarriage, missionaries and marriage guidance, in strictest confidence,
as well as cheder classes and Bat Chayil Programme.
They give over forty adult education classes weekly and employ a full time
outreach worker.

The S.A.J.T. provides a forum for teachers
to discuss current issues. We have been consulted by the Scottish Executive
on educational topics and by the SQA on the Higher RE Curriculum (Judaism).
We provide support for Jewish teachers, students and pupils with
religion-related problems.

projects of the RENEWAL Division of UJIA are Young People

– that every Jewish educator will be trained and qualified, inspired
and inspiring.
